26th March 2019 - IWCTG Quarterly Meeting, The Island Sailing Club Cowes. Guest speakers ​Rocky Moore, Partnership Manager, CSW Group, Mel Tutt and Graham Goddard, Trade Assessments Ltd (update on ESF funded courses and NVQs); Julian Carter, SECBE (on the CoTrain Shared Apprenticeship Scheme) and Chris Ashman, IW Council (Regeneration Update)

6th December 2018 - IWCTG Quarterly Meeting, The Isle of Wight College - Guest speakers: Chris Ashman, Director of Regeneration IW Council, Hayley Holden of Procurement and Contract Monitoring and Rob Mew, Head of Construction, Motor Vehicle and Land Based Studies at The Isle of Wight College. The meeting was followed by an excellent Christmas Meal provided by IW College students.
17 July 2018 - IWCTG Quarterly Meeting, Wight Building Materials Tour, 18:30 Newclose Cricket Ground meeting. Guest speakers John Barfoot and Hanna Garside, Solent University and Chris Ashman, Director of Regeneration, IW Council.
30th January 2017 - IWCTG Quarterly Meeting, CECAMM Centre, East Cowes. Catherine Bullough, CITB Local Manager – South & South West England, attended the meeting along with Liz Steel. They advised on the considerable changes which have been happening within CITB over the last few months and the major grant reform which takes effect from 1st April 2018.
10th October 2017 - IWCTG Quarterly Meeting at the new Isle of Wight College site in East Cowes. The College have a fantastic new CECAMM building - Centre of Excellence for Composites, Advanced Manufacturing and Marine: https://www.cecamm.co.uk/. Group Members had a tour of the building and facilities and saw the new provision for short Construction related courses in welding and autocad.​
18th July 2017 - IWCTG Quarterly Meeting at Osborne House (Duchess of Kent Suite)​ Guest speakers from Southampton Solent University – John Barfoot, Head of Construction, will be attending. Annelies James, Business Development Manager, will also be talking about higher level apprenticeships in management and construction – it is now possible to fund degree level qualifications through an apprenticeship programme and the employer only needs to pay 10% of the fees spread out over the term of the apprenticeship. This opens up incredible opportunities for level 3 to level 7 qualifications across your existing workforce or potential new recruits.
